How long does it take before you know for sure a guy is not going to have feelings for you and want you to be his girlfriend? We have been sleeping together for 2 months. There are sparks like crazy and it seems like his actions say he is falling in love with me. He seems to be treating me better and trying hard to please me and wanting me to be with him a lot. I'm falling in love with him too so I'm afraid to continue much longer if he doesn't love me and I'm afraid to ask him how he feels. Do you think I should read his actions that he is falling in love? Is two months long enough for him to have given me a commitment? What should I do??

He told me in the past he does not want a commitment, just fun, which is why I'm asking.

He has told me he doesn't see a future with me, but that was when he didn't know me that well. How could he know when he barely knew me? Is it possible that as he is getting to know me better he might change his mind??

Everyone is different. All the other girls were no as great as you. Therefore, he basically is falling for you if he is getting closer and wants you around more. Have confidence in yourself, trust your instinct . To tell you the truth human beings are too complicated to figure out what they really want, because they all tend to change their beliefs , ideas.
So as I have done, always be optimistic, and just follow your heart. Love is like a kinder egg, you dont know what you are getting when you are in a relationship. So take risks, because if you slow down on things and if you later find out that he really wanted to be with you , you will regret not making certain moves. You will also regret for not trying hard enough.

Another thing you need to keep in your mind nothing is impossible, even though he has made up his mind and is certain about what he told you before, consider that history, because as you can see , in reality he has feelings and his feelings are efffecting the way he thinks. Maybe he is scared of commitment, or maybe he has seen people who did not succeed because they were committed, try and work on his mind to take that wrong idea off his mind then he will be all yours.

Chances are you are reading into it what you want it to be. He told you that he didnt want a commitment in the beginning, so he probably doesnt get why you would expect anything different.
The only way you will know for sure is by talking to him about it. Maybe you are afraid to ask him how he feels because you dont really want to hear the answer? The longer you wait for a clear answer the more you are gonna be hurt. And you really wont have anyone to blame but yourself since he told you up front he doesnt want a commitment.

Are you in a hurry? Two months does not seem that long. However, has he even said he loves you?

I would think that ever 2 months, you would rate an "I love you." If not, you should sit down and talk with the man and find out if he loves you and if he could see a future with you. Tell him he doesn't have to commit to anything, but you'd like to know whether you should invest more than you already have in a relationship that is ultimately doomed to failure.

He already told you he didnt want a commitment. You should have left your pants on. Now that you are putting out without any commitment it is very likely that if you start bugging he will move on to someone more 'fun'. Your heart is in for some trouble unless his feelings have changed, which they are unlikely to do so.

Well if the only commitment you want it the official title of "girlfriend" then he should give it to you. Anything above that would be stupid to expect. He's either a player and just saying all that crap to get you to stay with him, or he's just scared of you skrewing him over because it's happened to him in the past. But he shouldn't have a problem calling you his girlfriend if he actually cares about you.

We guys get nervous when its commitment time. We are not sure especially when we care for a lady so much. We want to make sure we can hold our end of the bargain.

well for him to say that he isnt interested in a commitment then I would say dont bother waiting, you hear it straight from the horses mouth, move on because you dont want to be there 3 years from now still single or 10 years?

Why should he ever tell you he loves you or wants a life -long committment when he's already sleeping with you?
What's the rush for him?

You are No mystery.

Forget about the engagement ring or wedding. He's never going any futher. And you've already gone TOO FAR.

Ask him. Either he'll tell you he doesn't want to commit, he'll commit, or he'll tell you he wants to and bullshit you around for a while and never do anything. if he tells you he'll commit, and time passes and he never does, don't bother.
