in hair colouring you first need to know if you are warm or cool, then they name the colour of your eyes, you skin ,and hair. but they have so many names for all those that I'm not sure of what it is. To me im white(caucasion)with green eyes( with other colours in it) with brown hair. is there a simpler way to tell which one you are???

Yes, very simply ....if you look better in crisp white you are cool or if you look better in creamy ivory you are warm.

Another way is to go to a department store and wrap a gold scarf around your neck and then compare it to a silver one.
Gold looks better - warm
Siver looks better - cool
Voila!!

Do you look better in yellow gold jewelry?
Or silver jewelry?
That is one way of finding out if you are cool or warm
If yellow gold -you are warm
If silver-you are cool
If you are not sure then try different colors on tops.
example red-orange
Blue-red

yellow -green
blue -green
this will help determine if you are cool or warm

Given that you have green eyes, you're most likely warm. Cools tend to be people with really dark eyes or with steel grey and blue eyes.

well caucasions mainly have a cool skin colour...unless you are tan. so actually the best way is to see your skin tone...since we are covered by skin...the rest is complementary in terms of shades...

cheers~
