Alligators, crocodiles, etc are not dinosaurs, they are relatives. Other reptiles are about as close to dinosaurs as echidnas are to primates. Sharks aren't even reptiles.

No there not. There is reptile in New Zealand called a Tuatara (Sphenodon punctatus) which is believed to have been around during the time of the dinosaurs.

But wait a minute...what about crocodiles! They were in there during the time of the dinosaurs. Wouldn't you consider them to be dinosaurs?

She (the reptile, not the man who thinks he owns her) thinks she's a dinosaur and honestly, i'm afraid to argue with her. she's a dinosaur if there ever was one.

I'd heard some rumours about that, but I was never sure if it was true or not.

I guess I'll stop "keeping an eye out" for one, just in case one should come by my neighbourhood.
