no, i don't have an eating disorder.

i tend to eat according to my internal schedule - when i'm hungry. i usually have large breakfasts, average sized lunches, a snack a few hours after that, and usually no dinner, or maybe some yogurt, because the snack satisfies me until the next day.

so my mom is constantly yelling at me to eat something (because she's never home when i do eat) and now she's like going to tell everyone i'm anorexic and that i need a psychologist and a doctor.

what's a good way to say no, and mean it? i tried the brushing my teeth thing and today i said no, but the nagging got to me and i ate a lot more than i wanted to.

If you do not have an eating disorder, keep a food diary where you write every thing you ate that day down and do that for a week then show your mom the diary so she can see that you are eating. Try not to let it bother you too much... too many girls do have eating disorders and their parents never pay attention to them to know. Your mom loves you so just remember that in how ever you choose to solve the situation.

I think as long as you really are eating the large breakfast and lunch AND those meals add up to the correct amount of calories that you need a day then that's fine.

If I were you I would make a weekly calendar of what you eat (what you really eat-- no cheating) then do the math add up the calories(and fats etc)compare them to the food guide and show your mum. The proof is in the pudding so to speak-- she can't argue with that.

If your calories don't add up to enough though, you will have to rework what you eat... but that doesn't always mean eating a lot more, it could just mean eating different kinds of food or a wider variety. If you let your mum help you with reworking your diet, in a way that works for you, she will feel more involved in the process and less inclined to complain.

Good luck.

well, i dunno.
like me, im never hungry and eat only when i feel like it.
which i do rarely.
or only when we get junk food.
that i'll eat.
but my mom doesn't usually buy anything that has much fat.
she doesn't even buy juice.
only milk and water.
my mom yells at me and usually wont let me go out unless i eat.
usually i lie and say i've already eaten but she makes me eat anyways.
but from the sounds of it.
you eat enough.
i usually don't even eat breakfast until like 12 or 1 pm.

Do what you truly want to, try to hold a feeling of what you'd do if only you were there and always stick to that.
