Well when he calls you will have a gut reaction either to pick up or not. I would not pick up because you told him personaly to keep the door unlocked. It is his own loss and do what your heart desires. You cant have people to tell you what to do when it involves family because not many people will know. Talk to your friends and other people inn your family and you will know the answer!!

I know what your dad was doing he was teaching you a lesson for being 5 minutes late.I bet he locked that door at 12:00 when you wasnt home and just would not answer....I don,t think he did the right thing he should have let you in and grounded you on something if he felt that strong about it..You don,t solve anything by not talking...You should tell him what happened....From now on when you go out,if he says 12:00 try to be home a few minutes early....He was wrong and you were too,but he was really wrong by locking you out....He is trying some tough Love tactics

I would most definitely answer the phone when your dad calls. I mean what if something happened and he wasn't able to let you in? He could have an excuse for why he wasn't there or something. Just like how you have an excuse for being a few minutes late. I hope everything works out! Best of luck

Please always remember that your dad will always be your dad, and if this is the first time he has done this, then maybe give him another chance, more importantly, there could be a chance that he just was an old man and forgot and locked the door early by accident. Either way. I really hope you sort things out.

I think you skip a part. But I will try my best to answer. You should answer his call and explain your part of the story and then have him explain. After if his excuse wasn't good enough then get mad. Yell a little that always helps me when I am mad.

Nothing solves by not talking.Tell him what happened and how you feel.He wants to teach you a lesson, but he is being a bit too hard on you.I'll say talk to him.
