NEVER use soap!!!! soap can cause more skin problems. There's a product out there for break outs called zeno, the website is called myzeno.com It's 100 percent guarnteed to get rid of break outs by the next day. It's expensive though. Or use a cleanser wish benzoylle peroxide or salyclic acid. Aveeno makes a cleanser with soy for breakouts which contains no soap and keeps the skin from drying out. Hope this Helped.

philosophy is a great company that I've recently become hooked on. I use the "purity made simple" wash and then the other products from 'on a clear day' line

Try washing your pillowcases more often, it may be helpful, considering how often your face is against your pillow, you could be collecting dirt and oil there.
