You should treat her to a spa. So that she can relax and enjoy herself.

Congratulations on your new car. The serious side of having a car is more than just thanking mom--which you can do by showing complete and total responsibility for that new car. I mean keeping it in A one condition, paying the insurance and not abusing it.Being broke is a state of mind. Do you work?Maybe you need a better job or a second job to erase that broke status. I would just send a thank you bouquet of flowers--that would SAY it. But you need to show it. As any new young car owner, you are proud to have the wheels. But you have to realize that it can lead to trouble real quick. Always obey the law...your speedometer works,so watch it..don't speed.Don't be everyone else's ride--carloads of people are a distraction and can cause you a problem--not paying attention can cause you to wander, speed, run into things--sure signs of abuse and irresponsibility. Hurt a couple of passengers and friends will sue you real fast. Parking tickets are also expensive. Pay attention to parking rules. Lock the car when you leave it and put valuables in the trunk--out of sight is out of mind to a thief. Are you old enough by law to have young passengers? Some states don't allow anyone not in the family to be with a newly licensed driver. NEVER race--it is an invitation to disaster--respect your car and the law...only drivers doing stunts exist in the movies--it is not cool in real life. Learn the ropes if a cop does stop you. Always have your paperwork and have it ready to show...fumbling causes a cop to be nervous---don't piss the cops off. Never drink and drive. It will cost you thousands for years-----and don't think you're going to be cool because you got away with it once in a while. You are driving a couple of thousands of pounds of what can be a killer force if used all wrong--be adult and be smart. That shows your mom all the thanks she could ever hope for. Good luck

This is easy. Take her for a ride. How about a picnic in the country, a visit to a far away musuem? A ride out to the beach and a walk on the pier? How about a lunch someplace decent? None of these ideas would cost too much. The most important thing a child can give a parent is their time and attention. Then just tell her how much you appreciate the car and how much it means to you to have her there in your corner. You don't have to get sappy about, just matter of factly. You'd be surprise how much all that would mean to her. Trust me. I'm a mom of 3 adult children and 2 teenagers.

Bake her a lovely cake or buy her something which she will/most likely to love! Amos cookies are delicious and along with that. maybe get her a beautiful, yet a not so expensive necklace or bracelet. Then together with the gifts, stick a post-it note saying how much you are thankful for the car and that she is the best mom on earth. Not in a sappy way though, since you have written on your question that you aren't that type.

I never had anyone buy me a car, but I do understand being broke. Perhaps you can do something that would make things easier for your mom. Treat her to a dinner either out or one that you made with a nice place setting...maybe with candles. If you can't afford spa treatments, then maybe you could give her a foot rub, allow her to take a nice long bubble bath and maybe even a peice of your time here and there that she would not expect. This is just a few ideas...there are so many out there and it depends on what your mom likes. Even bunches of hugs unexpectedly would do. Trust me, I try to do things like that for my mom often and it works.

have you ever been told action speak louder than words. you want to tell her how greatful u r right. But u don't have a lot of money OK so your broke. that's prefect for what i have an idea for. what u can do is give your mom IOU. What u put on them is IOU one day rest and u do all her house work for that day. Then u make up others that u know she dose not like doing or gets tried of doing and tell her she can redeem them at any time she feels the need or just when she wants a brake

You don't need money to show you are thankful. Maybe pitch in a little more around the house, bring grades up. Thousands of ways and sometimes a simple "I love you" works especially when these words aren't spoken out load often.
Maybe people in here have told you the best of all Spending some time with her.....PRICELESS

The only way is to listen to her. Now you have a car, make sure you are discipline and dont get involve in any trouble or drive too fast and get into an accident.
It will be nice if you could drive her once a while.
Good Luck

If you are broke, there is not much you can do except work for the money that she paid to buy the car.You can do things around the house.Make your moms job easyer. And switch the rolls for one day.You be her mom.Cook and clean for her for one day.Breakfast in bed would be nice and do whatever she asks you to.Being a mom is the hardest thing to do ever.Congrats on you car, enjoy.

I am sure you have money for you need to put gas, oil, and general maintenance in to your new Mustang. OH! Also insurance payments...
Take her to HER FAVORITE restaurant, treat her to a day of spa treatments, or just the two of you take a short vacation to where ever your mom chooses.

You should help her with anything she needs with or make her breakfast in bed for a week or two and remember females love a foot massage after work and a spa.
My mum loved the foot spa
Good luck with it.
