I hav dropped my camera on my way back from a holiday
The last I saw it was on the plane back from bangkok to singapore.
It was in my jacket pouch. I got off the plane, went through security screening where I had to take my jacket off, collected my baggage and took a cab with my girlfriend. I got off the cab first.
When I was about to open my home door, I suddenly did not find camera in my pouch. I panicked a bit. Could not reac my girlfriend as her mobile was off. so reported lost item to airline, airport and cab company. However I should have walked down to see if I had dropped it outside the cab which I didnt do immediately.
I know the chances of me getting this back are very slim.
What are my options? Should I explore other options like a psychic or hypnosis?

I am really down because all my holiday pictures were there on that camera

Did you report it to the police or other authority? If so, did you get a copy of the report? If so, I'd just forget about finding it and make a claim on your travel insurance for a replacement camera. As you said yourself, the chances of finding it are very slim indeed.

Hope it all goes well.

Very difficult if you can't remember where you lost it. I'm sure you've retraced your steps in your mind already. From the info you gave, I think the most likely place you lost it was at the security check where you took your jacket off. You checked with airport, but is that the same office as the airport security agency?

Hope there weren't some compromising pictures of you and your gf in the films/memory. A lesson for all of us...

have your reported it to Chiangi Airport authorities, because you should. Report to the police, consider offering a small reqard.
I use two cameras one digital and the other a SLR film camera and take the same photo twice there is no danger of loosing images then.
I have also taken photographs of both my cameras that I keep on me so that people will recognise them.
This is also a good tip for luggage. Take a photo of your baggage carry it with you when you travel and if it gets lost you can always give a copy to the handling agent or airline.

A good samaritan may turn it in to the airport Lost & Found. Check with the at the end of the week.

In the future, type your name, wprk or cellphone number on those "white sticky labels" used in offices, so if you lose something it can be returned to you at work.

Perhaps it fell out of your jacket pocket when you went through security screening. Those lines are rather hectic.
