Wow, you are definitely underweight. You are supposed to be 140 lbs as your ideal size...I'm about 130 and 5'6. Once you reach 5 feet...for every inch you grow, you are supposed to gain 5 lbs...so for example:

5 x 8 =140 lbs
5 x 6 = 130 lbs

If you are interested in modeling, you would be IDEAL. However, the best way to tone up to is to do things like wall-sits, bridges, and swimming (which is a full-body aerobic exercise) and eat foods that aren't BAD for you, but are high in calories like meat, dairy products, fruit, vegetables (the platters with the sour cream in the middle is so good), etc...

Good luck ;-)

The first thing cut down on your junk food.this is not a healthy way of putting on weight. You must eat good quality food because although you are skinny, you are going to clog up your arteries if you keep going leading to long term problems as you get older.Add more vegetable protein to your diet at about 30g per meal and you might have to take an extra supplement or two to help your body absorb these nutrients.

Yes you are way under weight. I was that much in 6th grade. I am 16, 5' 9", 185 lbs, and hardly any fat on me. I havn't worked out in 6 months and am in cross country. So in my opinion yes you are. To gain weight is to eat/drink a lot of protein. Also work out along with the protein. This will help build muscle mass and gain weight. Hope this helps.

I would go to my Dr. and possibly a Dietician. Some ppl are twiggy, but I'd want to check for any health concerns that could be causing this. It's probably nothing, but at least you'd have it off of your list and they could give you good professional, healthy ideas.

first things first....dont eat fast food! its so bad for your cholesterol and arteries....eat more protein and lean meats and drink lots of water...some ppl like yourself are just lucky and have great metabolisms. but as long as your eating and getting proper vitamins you shouldnt be worried...you are pretty young and will be gaining some weight as you get older. just wait til college!
