Some one told me my photographs had a "ng style to them"

can anyone take a a look at my shoots and explain?

People compair photography with classic photographs or with magazines with classic photographs like PB(Play Boy) or NG(National Geography) It's not an exagiration that some one told your photography style like a NG

Never heard of the term and it makes no sense. Ask them. Could he possibly have meant NJ for news journalist? Still nj is not a common adjective but better than ng.
