Hi,
Well, I like this girl at work who is 5-6 yrs older than me.... have known her for last 7 months... But until last week , did not know much about her.. but... :) well, 2006 ended on a great note in which I got an oppurtunity to talk to her alone during travel, though I ended by asking most of the questions, she also asked a few.. ! anyways, now I m more open to her & know her much better.. I have also given her a lots of hints that I like her... though I dont think she likes me back in that way... probably coz age might be an issue for her.. not for me certainly... But I know she is single... so people... what do you think... is it a good idea to tell her that I like her...or let it go on like this for some time ? also please tell me how to convince her about the age thing... coz certainly there are many people of her age much better than me.. but one thing is for sure that none of them can like her & take care of her as much as I do :(. but what can I do :(

Why not just ask her if she wants to go out for coffee sometime, or to a movie. That will be enough to let her know that you like her. . .if she accepts and says yes, she most likely has the same feelings. Take a risk, and hopefully it will pay off! Good luck!

wow, I am going to guess, that the age thing as come for you, in regards to her. should post the age of yourself, as a women, over 40 would look at that. NO its not a good I idea to tell a women you like her, NO. Why don't you start, letting her get to know you, Talk more often at the office, keep it shop talk for the most part, with some light personal sharing. move slowly and see are things progress on there own. Be yourself.

First of all, I don't really think age is an issue. If she had the same feelings for you, she would have made some indication. You wouldn't be questioning on yahoo about it. However, if you have true feelings, and they are feelings that you feel strongly about, TELL HER. Get it out in the open, and see what she says. If she says no, you are no worse off than before. What is the saying??? Live each day as if it were your last?? DO IT...

I dont know what to do about the situation as far as telling her or not but for the age I think you should tell her that age is nothing but a number and true love can come in many different ways, shapes, and forms and that you really want to be with her.

It's hard to say without knowing how old you are. The age gap narrows as you get older. If you are younger than 18, let it go. If you are 22 or older, play it a little more, but don't think of yourself as a kid. They can sense that. Put yourself in her world. Let her see your maturity. You may have a fine older woman in your near future.

This one MIGHT work: Tell her that you are tired of dating the immature younger women and that you are ready to have a serious relationship (or atleast try it out) with a REAL woman who is mature enough to know what she wants & enjoys in life. Also, just remind her that age isn't anything but a number...(unless somebody is less than 18, then it is stat. rape ofcourse) Lol!!

im a girl ,and i will like 2 know ur age , and im totally young 4 giving an advice ,so if i had a attraction sum 1 younger than me i wont go out wit dat younger boi,take my advice girls want older guys,if u were just 2 or 3 years younger dat wont b a prob but ur 2 young 4 her so find sum1 else ,if dats wut u think is okay 4 u!!!

keep spending time with her, if things happen they happen sure waiting sucks but giving a relationship time to turn out how its meant to is best rather than saying something that will only driver her away, she may not like you right now but after time she might get closer to you but after time she may not.
Keep dropping little hints and spending time with her doing things yu both enjoy :)

im only 14 and i can tell you, this is a tough one. Love knows no boundaries. And just because you like her doesnt mean she likes you. Love knows no boundaries, but love isn't mutual.
