ya, thats really cute and great. get together if you really like him so much and dont delude yourself of anything. if he is pushing your buttons just right and trying to get laid it will happen. If you think there ever comes some sort of moment that feels more like a leap of faith than something you are also interested in then maybe you have been dreaming a tad too much. That can be unfair to both him and yourself. Especially if he is really into you. Even a gentleman will be ready to bump things up a notch before you will by the mere chemistry of his being. This is why I say be careful not to be dreaming to big when it comes to intimacy because he may misread you if you arent being honest.
Intimacy is not about so much doing wild things together as much as it is finding true personal comfort and openness with that person. Take your time and lead him to appreciate you rather than some thing you think he wants you to be like to keep his attention.
I think all the cynical, snide remarks of the shallow minds of little faith here displayed also reflects a fascinating aspect of hypocritical, whiny, spoiled, deluded american culture which spawned me and I utterly reject. Its a country where the divorce rate is almost 60% alot like the answers here that think intimacy = sex.
Intimacy with one person can be better than a lifetime of sex with random partners.
Just be careful that hes not one of all these other idiots that equates sex to intimacy. It is something special you can take time to develope and cherish.

Hi, Some guys have a complex about being "the only one" during an encounter, personally and for many of my friends, we don't care about the past history as long as all is safe some guys find themselves vulnerable during! But NO Myself and my male friends and most of the other guys if they where being honest with you really don't care! It's the present that counts not the past! Logically it doesn't figure on the web as it is non sexual anyway! Best Bill

I'd say it's quite possible he has feelings for you, and when he said he wanted to be intimate with you, he might have meant he wanted to sleep with you but even if he did mean that, he still may have feelings for you. He would probably want to sleep with you alot more if he has genuine feelings for you. You are the best person to know if he is falling for you, trust your gut instinct. If he is falling for you he wont hide it for long!

He's using a buzz word to try to get you in the sack. Many women say men have intimacy issues and that usually has nothin to do with sex.
If you like him give it a shot, what the hell.

More than likely he is trying to say he wants to have sex with you. He may even want a relationship. If you can't discuss feelings with him though, it's probably not a good idea to be having sex with him.

There are many definations of Intimacy. It could be that he has a longlasting love or most probably sex. In my opinion, I think it is sex. For him, intimacy is short 4, "I want to f#@* your a## so bad and I want it now. But then again this is me opinion.

If he said it exactly like that. he wants to have sex with you but passionate, loving and caring sex. It means that he wants to have sex but he really likes you

Is that what he actually said, or did you clean it up for us for "publication"?

It's that no guy would say that or a statement like "I think it is time the we have sexual intercourse together."
