ok, im in 8th grade.im a girl and i hATE SHOPPING.but my favorite things to do are play in the mud, horseback ride and to play smear the quer and tackle football.all my friends are guys and i have 1 friend who is a girl and she is in 5th grade.but i mean, i live in a trailer park where the cops take forever to get there.all the girls at school have tagged me a redneck trailer trash. what do ya'll think?

First place, no one should put a person down because they live in a mobile Home, as it is called in Texas. Trailer is not the correct word. Guess you are about 12 to 13 yrs old. The things you enjoying doing is not abnormal for a person your age for a boy or girl. Just because you do not like to shop, does not mean nothing, lots of grown women hate to shop, but have too. As far as the cops taking forever to get there, they take forever to get anywhere, so what does where you live have to do with it. As far as the girls at school tagging you as a redneck trailer trash, then they are wrong. They are probably stuck up , what the kids in my area call preps that mommy and daddy are rich as a foot up a bullsass, and think their poop does not stink. If they do not want to be your friend, that is their loss, not yours. You continue on doing exactly what your doing to have fun, you sound like your more normal than they are. hang in there.

Why would you call yourself trailer trash. I have heard people make remarks about people who live in trailers and it really irks me. Some of my best friends live in trailers and it is because that is where they want to live. To answer your question. No. You seem like a perfectly normal girl. You just enjoy being a kid and doing what kids do. These 8th grader who are into dating and shopping are just different than you. I would rather my daughter be like you that want to be going out all the time with boys. You are not a redneck and don't listen to these people. You stay a good girl and don't let the cops ever come to pick you up. Hold your head high and if people snob you, hold it higher. You are precious.

The only thing in life is what you should think of yourself, who cares what anyone else things. But I honestly you need to find something more constructive to do, than playing in the mud. Give up the mud and go horseback riding. I myself would rather do that. If I had a horse to ride, I would be in heaven. It is amazing when you can shop, even if you don't buy, its fun trying on different things. You never know what you would discover about yourself. So your friend is in 5th grade big deal, if she's a friend that you trust. Friends are hard to fine. One of my kids was the same way. You should see now, she is quite happy with her boyfriend. lol I dont think you are at all. I dont like shopping either, and I love to do everything you do, I grew up on the country and I've had all guy friends. Its one of the funnest thing to do, plus with all guy friends you get to know them and you always get attention. just cuz you like to do guy stuff doesnt mean your a dumbass, or trailer trash.
