No, Jesus gave us enjoyable work to do here and now. Like summer church camp. I love every minute of it!

Well, maybe not by your definition of enjoying life. Everyone is different. I, for one, believe that heaven will be great and all, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy life as it is. Also, those that believe life on earth should be forsaken, cuz it makes you more spiritual and better prepares you for eternal life, I guess they enjoy life cuz they're living the way they want to. That's the key. Live by your own rules. If those rules are the path of God, so be it.

In fact a Christian can enjoy the life on earth more than non-believers. But sometimes you would chose to suffer for the sake of God or others.

The Christian life is the best life I have ever lived (I am not talking about a religious life, but one with a personal relationship with God)

Ahh, not true. Christians do eagerly await the afterlife in which they will meet their Lord & Savior and their Father, however, life on Earth is also very important. It is how we serve our Father and spread his Word to all those around us. Life on Earth is difficult, but it makes the ultimate reward that much better.

True enjoyment comes from God. Remember that our lives here are only for 70 or 80 years. The life after this physical one is what we should be working on. As it says in the bible to build up your treasures in Heaven where moth and rust cannot destroy them. And also how that the unseen things are more important then the things that we can see. And, Keeping our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Life on earth is fine, The here after will be better. The thing is people calling Christians haters and then hating us because we are christian it um kinda leaves more to be desired

Christians do enjoy life here and now.Life is to be enjoyed.Belief in after life does not mean that one has to deny happiness.Infact Christianity is all about celebration of life.. I mean true life to the fullest possible.

There are very, very few true Christians because this is a religion with impossible demands and standards. Most poeple party hardy and fancy themselves Christians but they are really hedonists.

THIS IS A PLAY WITH WORDS. THOUGH TRUE CHRISTIANS LOOK FORWARD TO AN AFTERLIFE, THEY ARE TO DO THE BEST WITH THEIR LIVES WHILE HERE ON THIS EARTH. CHRISTIANS ARE NOT PERFECT, BUT ARE FORGIVEN. :-)

I don't know how "most" of them believe
BUT
I did have a "Christian" friend (born again she claimed) and once said that "She didn't mind dying, that it didn't bother her, because then she'd be home."
I thought this was pretty sad, esp. being that she had no health problems then, has none now, and is still walking around today
