My husband and I have been using and trying out massage oils for a few years now.
Most are very expensive, but do work.
However, here's the secret we have learned, a simple large bottle of baby oil, even generic for like .99 cents works just as well, sometimes even better than a ten dollar small bottle of so called "massage oil".
you can put some drops of fragrance in if you like and it is still way way cheaper. our preference is lavender. it is very soothing to the senses. i like pathoulli too, but it is heavy to some people. i like euculyptus smells too. experiment until you get what you want, and using baby oil you can afford to find your favorite, which could just be the smell of the baby oil.

You can make your own by using olive oil or grape seed oil with lavender and/or marjoram and/or petitgrain and/or frankincense and/or chamomile and/or clary sage.
Use 10-11 drops of oil with an ounce of carrier oil.

Coconut oil believe it or not. It's about $5, and it doesn't have a smell to it. It melts in your hand..it's great. You can find it in you local health food store, or in the organic food section of your grocery store.
