Absolutely NOT! Both my kids had theirs out last year and the first line of the instructions say not to drink any soda until the sockets have healed which will take at least a week. As stated previously, the carbonation in the soda can dislodge the protective clots covering the wounds where the teeth were removed. The result of this is called Dry Socket and can be extremely serious as the human mouth is germy and filled with bacteria. Without the protective clot, the bacteria in your mouth can invade the wound causing a terrible infection witch could potentially kill you. Doctors usually send patients home with care instructions; please read the instructions and follow them to the "T" and you'll be healed and drinking "pop" in no time!

The carbonated water in the soda can dislodge the clot Hun and lead to "dry socket" believe me you don't want any part of that nasty condition, no straws or nicotine, or sucking. Google dry socket if you need any motivation at all. Third day or fourth you should have no worries at all. Be well.

I dont see why not but, not through a straw . If you do that you can get what is called dry soket and that really hurts, and you may not what to drink anything too cold either.
Hope you feel better soon.

I wouldn't. The carbonation might be irritating. Try to stick with water and milk and avoid sugary or acidic things.
