Knowing that you don't believe in God or what Christians say, my question is: What Christian pastor, minister do you respect?

Rev. Barry Lynn president of "Americans United for Separation of Church and State" and Bishop John Shelby Spong who gets on to Christians for misrepresenting what atheists believe. I respect all herders as human beings of course. I don't respect their ideas.

The two that I mentioned, I respect a lot of their ideas, but I think they are dead wrong about a few things of course.

Funny thing is the only ones I really here about are the ones doing bad things. I've gone to church a few times, and sometimes I can pick up what there puttin' down, but the whole story part of the bible, I mean even to take it at truth would mean that God isn't who I quite hoped for. Just like i wouldn't want a girlfriend who was jealous (let alone the fact that her name was Jealous) I don't want a God that is.

Not atheist, just logical.

Weird question. I respect everyone regardless of their religion, and that's the way everyone should be. Because you believe in God and I don't doesn't mean you're better than me. So, I guess I respect the Pope mostly, since he represents Christian's god.

I respect my wife's old pastor. A woman who respected everyone, looked down on no one, and would engage in frank, honest, and open discussion on a topic without judgement.

I attended her church often, and enjoyed the message this pastor presented. I did not have to believe her fairy tales to get a good message from her sermons.

What kind of question is that? We aren't Christian. Grasp the full concept...

I don't know any. That's like my asking you which of my aunts you like best... (What atheist do you respect?)

Edit: Ok, the ones on tv are televangelists and IMO are the least truth worthy.

I don't know any. I don't really hear about any or see them on tv until they do something bad, like embezzle or sleep with little boys, so I can't really answer this question.
