When I was pregnant, I was diabetic, and had to drastically change my eating....besides cutting out sugar, I had to eat three snacks and three small meals a day.....I barely gained any weight, and after pregnancy tried to keep up that diet....and yes, it works excellently!

I don't do it consciously as a diet, it's just the way I eat. Small portions through the day are great for the blood sugar levels, and I ended up losing over 40 pounds by accident!
I never had time at my former job to sit down to a big meal, it was just snacking and tasting throughout the day. And I was too tired for a big dinner anyway.

5/6 small meals are not unavoidably extra perfect what you eat in the two the three great meals and the 5/6 small meals make the variation. for my area, you're extra in all hazard to eat extra energy with the 5/6 smaller meals when you consider which you eat extra oftentimes than ordinary. as long as there's a stability there is no longer a distinction. I say 3 great meals is extra perfect, that's clever you eat, food gets digested, you utilize that potential for in spite of then yet another great meal comes for a furnish of potential. while the smaller meal you're consistently ingesting and digesting food by using the day no longer unavoidably undesirable merely my opinion

that actually does work beacause you eat less but you're still fueling your body. like if u eat breakfast, then have a mini meal or snack, then youre going to eat less at lunch...& it keeps your metabolism going 4 more info go here: http://www.public.asu.edu/~ejmccar/6meals.html

Yes, I have heard of this. It's not harmful in any way, and keeps your metabolism going constantly instead of up and down all day long. As long as you're getting enough nutrition, it should be fine.
