If you drive straight through, plan on 3-4 days, which would be very hard on the body and spirit both.

Driving long days, with adequate stops for rest, meals, and sleep at night and a few sights along the way, plan on a week.

It will take easily 3-4 days driving non stop, and if I were you, I would go through the US not on the Trans-Canada or it will take even longer. If you are driving in shifts, you might be able to do it quicker, but not see anything. You will also have to watch out for road construction during the summer, as this could add hours to your drive. Interstates in the US also have higher speed limits then highways in Canada, so another reason to head through the US!!

The distance from Montreal to Los Angeles, California is 4580Km
or 2845 miles and will take 1 day and 19 hours (43hrs) driving time.
