I don't know. Perhaps it's best to try to avoid both. You know, just to be on the safe side.

Having gay thoughts while having pre-marital heterosexual sex.

As for thoughts you cannot stop a bird from flying overhead but you can stop it from building a nest on your head.

In order to have sex with anyone you have to make an effort. So both are sinful but homosexuality is one of the few sins which are referred to as abomination. If that's not enough info then you might consider God's urban renewal program for Sodom and Gomorrah.

Definitely the latter - premarital heterosexual sex, which would be a mortal sin. An impure thought is not really a sin until it becomes put into action. That would be considered a venial sin, I think.

I do know that long before you were even born into a sinful nature, Someone offered you hope. While you grew and live out your life according to your own desires and self-pleasures, Someone knew that you would be hopelessly lost and without His " sin-atonement ", you would stay lost, miserable, not knowing where you were headed for or how you would escape all the turmoil and confusion in your life. Yet you do not know that Someone has set a course for you that leads to peace and righteousness.
But alas, God did give you free will - Someone cannot force you - to believe - to seek - or to follow this special Someone.
It is in your innate nature to rely on your own abilities to overcome your life's obstacles in your search for happiness and peace. But in reality WE DO KNOW " you will never ever been able to locate such a place of existence within the realm of your own abilities ". { Romans 3:10-12}

I would say that GOD will make that determination. We are not told to avoid some sins and do others. They are all wrong. When I know that I have sinned unintentionally I pray and ask that the FATHER would forgive me of those sins as soon as I am able to do so. HE has given me so many things that I want to be able to do what I can for HIM. Our GOD is awesome. Have a great Lord's Day!

I trust you on the certainty that there is no distinction between gay intercourse and heterosexual premarital intercourse so some distance as the two being extra irrelevant than the different. And please do no longer generalize that all and sundry Christians think of the comparable approximately this. I do have some recommendations as to why they do react extra aggressively against gay intercourse. ( I do emphasize "gay intercourse," when you consider which you do no longer witness the comparable outcry against lesbians.) i've got faith that once the the term "premarital intercourse" is used, the ideas sees a sexual act this is considered everyday to them. while the term "gay intercourse" is used, the ideas sees 2 adult adult males engaged in an interest considered to them as extraordinary, grimy and repulsive. And it does not help that gay intercourse has generally led to the AIDS epidemic. they do no longer want those photos of their ideas; they want them to purely go away. I say this because of the fact I grew up in a time there replaced into no longer this great controversy with regards to homosexuals. All knew approximately them, of direction, yet they have been "in the closet" and not being delivered to ideas consistently. I not at all witnessed a gay being dealt with disrespectfully back then. it is likewise repugnant to a pair (and that i'm certainly one of those) that now we are being asked and expected to view gay intercourse as proper and everyday.

In the eyes of God, sin is sin. not a greater or "worse" sin. But I would advise you to phrase your question univocally, the first part of the question is about a thought, the second about an action.

No sin is any worse than the next one. Sin is sin in God's eyesight. May God Bless U.

Neither of those are sins in my book. I think that murder (except in self defense), lying, dishonesty, making others unhappy, fearing people for who they are (xenophobia, homophobia, etc.)oppression (racism, anti-semitism, etc.) and wasting resources/destroying the environment are the only sins and will only be evened out with Karma. Not necessarily in this life but possibly in one of your next ones.
