The Necronomicon speaks of the Elden. The seeders. The necronomicon spell book is not a real record, the true Book of the Dead is a real record. Don't be confused by it. The Elden were the ones that used POS to create life and call the dead to do their bidding. They broke into factions. One became a god and one became the devil. Some used evil and some good just like any other being. The evil were those like Ekli and Arrin, they seemed great and wonderful, until they did not get their way. Yahweh and Luscon were basically benevolent, as long as their laws were followed. Tinian and Tain with Sian and Zarga all refused to be seen as important. they were neither gods nor devils, they lived the One law. These were the Elden, a race of outworlders that came to seed an emptied world. The entire lineage can be found through the true "Book of the Dead", the "Hebrew" writings, the "Book of Nod" and the real (good luck finding it) "Necronomicon"

This is all mythology mind you ..
The ancient ones are the demons, the true gods, the ones that were here first. By performing the ritual text in the Necronomicon you allow them to come back and reclaim what is theirs.
