For the Breakfast part, try egg, ham and cheese. When it's a latenight snack try, Peanut Butter and Banana, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Cream Cheese and Jelly, Cheese N' Croissant, or, Just the Typical sandwich of Meat, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato.

Trust Me, while my parents are sleeping, me and older sister always go downstairs and make those.

Happy Snacking

Croissants are one of the best to make a sandwich or snack out of. Chicken salad, tuna, ham & cheese....they all are perfect. If you are vegetarian or lack any "meat" to add, vegetables are awesome as well. I would recommend cucumbers, avacadoes, tomatoes as an alternative.

What do you have on-hand? You need to scan your larder to see what you've got in there to give us something to work with!

Peanut-butter 'n jelly croissants might be good......ham 'n cheese croissants is always a fave..

but if you've only got something like a can of pork 'n beans...and some tabasco sauce....you'll need to visit the grocers.

Almost anything, sweet or savoury. In the South of England where I grew up, less than 200km from France, you could buy croissants from our local bakery. Here in rural NZ I make my own, and they're at least as good. Marmite, Vegemite, Promite, cream cheese, cottage cheese, any cheese you can think of, smoked salmon, sardines, caviare, ham, corned beef, Nutella, peanut butter, melted butter, paté, anchovies, olive oil with crushed garlic and salt, asparagus, artichoke hearts, salami, German sausages, olives, candied fruit, quelques choses avec les exceptions de merde ou glaviots verdes, get the idea?

Slice it down the middle and spread cream cheese and strawberry jam.

Or regular cheese and strawberry jam.

Or a little mayo, cheese, ham, lettuce, cucumber.

Mmmm, I love croissants. So many possibilities.

Anything! Even a fryed egg and onion! Or chop up some cold chicken with a little mayonnaise, celery, halved grapes and walnuts. Or use them for a base for sausage gravy. Enjoy!

Scrambled eggs. Cut the croissant in half and put the scrambled egg between the halves.
