Am I ever glad I am a muslim woman. I mean, look at that first answer!!! "until she completes her SIN"???? Sin is when you do something on purpose. Believe me, almost every single woman wishes she never had her period and pharmacies have even developed special pills so that she only gets 4 per year. It's ridiculous to say a natural human act is a sin. Is it a sin to give birth, too? Come on, now think logically!!! Muslim women are even honored in their periods. Muhammad (PBUH) would read the Quran out loud with his head in the lap of his menstruating wives. The Quran says it's more of an injury and to avoid sex because that would be gross, but it's okay to do everything else ordinarily even oral sex. I can not believe people actually blame the woman for her period and say she sins by having it. Shame on them.
