Does anybody own one already and has either negative or positive to say about these cars?

The Altima is more of a sporty race sedan with stiffer suspension, where as the Camry is a luxury smooth riding sedan. I think the 07 Camry is a better looking car. The Camry did win 07 car of the year. I believe the Toy is a little larger too.

The 07 Altima is all new, as is the 07 Camry. The Camry has a softer ride over the Altima, better mileage, and a 6 speed automatic and is pretty fast with the 3.5 V6. The Altima has push button ignition, a CVT transmission, and in my opinion looks better than the Camry. Toyota has the typical perfect fit and finish, but Nissan has the "excitement" factor. It's a pretty even comparison, but if it was me buying either of these two cars, it'll have to be the Altima. That's because there's a serious transmission problem with the 07 Camry, and has resulted in 1 death so far.
If you like coupes, the Altima is coming out in a coupe version, and it looks pretty sweet.

screw the 06 altima, if your looking for a bit of sport go with the 07 altima it has great power and handling for the price. If it's comfort and easy riding you want go with the Camry. Either way you cant loose their both excellent vehicles. (you'll probably get a better resale value on the Camry)

Did you see the nose on that Camry? I think looks and features will sell the Altima I work for Nissan, Master technician. Check it out for your self.

I would highly perfer a Nissan Altima because it has better handling and power. Plus its a good car to drive and has lots of features to it like the Sentra.

The Camry. Depending on the model, 4 cylinders with heaps of power. Heaps of room, big boot/trunk. Very stylish looking. Base model has airbags, CD player, power windows, A/C all as standard. Proven reliability. All this for around A$30k.
