Being that Ecstasy is not always the pure form of MDMA (the drug responsible for the europhic feelings from ecstasy pills) and could have other unknown chemical substances in it by taking Ecstasy and RX pain killers you could unknowingly mix yourself a toxic combination. According to wikipedia MDMA does not have problems with painkillers only MAOI (Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor) drugs.

Ecstasy really should never be taken even as a one time experiment. Unlike many other recreational drugs, ecstasy has some devastating side effects that can kill you. I have seen this first hand on a number of occasions. Prescription pain killers, likewise, should be taken only as directed. The fact that you are asking the question implies to me that you have enough sense to do the right thing. Don't mix the two!

I'm going to be very honest and blunt here, i have worked in ER too often and seen too many dead from OD's and the after effect on those left behind.
Sure if you want to become a statistic , mix them, just remember that even if you dont have family and something happens , even us nurses cry when we lose young people due to the stupidity of illegal drugs.
