I was listening to a new song by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and one of the lines of the song said that everything you see in the news today has already been written in the Bible. What do you guys think?

Did you know that 2000 phrophecies that are written in the Bible have already came true? Not everything in the news is in the Bible, but alot of it is. For instance it says in the Bible that in the end days people will have so much knowledge, well think about the internet-knowledge is just a click away. Or the mark of the beast- did you hear about the chips they are implanting in people with all their info on it.Or how every nation will hate the Jews and try to make war against them- that is going on right now. You should google some prophesy websites.

I am not "Religious" but I have studied Bible Prophecy and the Bible as History. The stuff in the news is in the Bible and its going to get a whole lot worse b4 it all ends. Even the "Scientists" are saying that when the world oil supply runs out at least 1/2 of the world is gonna starve to death. Its all in the Bible. For the rich to maintain thier wealthy lifestyle they will have to implant us with microchips to keep an eye on everyone. 666 Mark of the beast is now here. Every time I see a newborn baby I feel sorry because of the messed up life he is being brought into.

No, not everything. But somethings are. For instance the dividing up of Israel/Israel leaving the Gava Strip and giving it to the Palstinians was a prophecies that was recently full filled.

"Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD's anger. Gaza will be abandoned and Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday Ashdod will be emptied and Ekron uprooted. Woe to you who live by the sea, O Kerethite people; the word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines. "I will destroy you, and none will be left." Zephaniah 2:2-5

Now the second part has not happend yet (the "I will destroy you"). But keep watching the news it will happen in the coming years.

not everything and while prophesy does seem to get fulfilled there are those who p[oint to the fact that all these prophesies were fulfilled b4 the end of the first century. Best not to waste ones time contemplating prophesy when the same time could have been used doing something with actual value like reading scripture or doing random acts of kindness. Really this fascination with the end times is a distraction from what is important. Scripture says we are supposed to know when and we are to act as if the end will be tomorrow.

Not in the sense that every item or type of communication system was written in the Bible. But yes the Bible does tell of the events and the sinful actions which lead to the results that you're reading about everyday in the news.

I believe it's true. It's not gonna come out and say that a plane is going to slam into the twin towers. You have to read in between the lines. P.S. I think Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is a great group.

The Bible describes the end times and the end of the world, but it doesn't necessarily give all the details leading up to it.

I believe that everything that is happening is leading up to what the Bible describes to be the end times, but at the same time you can't say with 100% certainty that this headline shows that this verse in the Bible is happening right now. Truth is, we just don't know when all the Bible talks about is going to happen.

I think what they mean by that line is that what we see going on in the world today...the behavior we see in people, the attitudes of people and the evil we see in the world...the Bible refers to how people will live without Christ in their lives.

Matthew Chap 25 is a good chapter to read about end times. Jesus referred to end of things as "birthpangs". we see evil increasing, we see hurt and sin increasing. We turn on the news and see many of these things going on...
I think that's what the line in the song means in a rhetorical kind of way.

There's no direct reference in the Bible to the guy shot someone else on the news tonight.
There's no direct reference to the business exec who stole money from his company on the news tonight.

But there is plenty of reference to how men live without the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ in their hearts. I kind of think that's what the songwriter means there.

Hope that helps some

All but one. Revelation 17, Babylon the Great (the world of religion, both Christian, Muslim, and all others) hasn't fallen yet. Nor have the Kings and Sellers that deal with her mourn her (people that deal with and make money off of her).

They come for Christs people last according to the scriptures and that's what brings about his return. As he says, "if I had not cut short my return, ALL LIFE WOULD BE LOST." So, if you think its bad now, just wait.

However, READ FOR YOURSELVES.
