I often have my running nose every morning and I do sneeze. My nasal mucus is often clear and thin. I have visit doc and said to be allergic. However, I saw ants on my tissues recently. I am a little worried. Is that anything related to diabetes or any other likely disease? Thanks alot for replying.

Thanks so much Caz_V8: can you confirm rather than "most likely"?

Ants aren't only attracted to sugar; they are also attracted to proteins and moisture. Nasal mucus has both, so I'd say there's a good chance that's what they're after.

Most likely because there is moisture. Just as flies attract to people's eyes for a drink of the moisture in the eye, so too are the ants attracted to the tissues.
Also, some ants are protein eaters, they like it alot, and so your snot has protein in it.
TIP: Throw your tissues in the bin ok!!!

Mucus contains sugars and moisture, two things ants are attracted to. This is normal.
