Actually, it depends. Depending on the medication you take, the shot locations are different. For Rebif, Copaxone, and Betaseron, they are subcutaneous shots (they go into the fat layer under the skin). The shot locations are the backs of the arms, the love handles, the belly (below, around, and always about 2" away from the belly button, never above the height of the belly button), and the tops of the quads (about a hand's distance up from the knees). Also, the dosing is different: Rebif is three times a week, Betaseron is every other day and Copaxone is every day. Avonex is an intramuscular shot taken once a week and can be taken in the thighs or in the upper arm.

My wife has MS, and i give her shots. the sites are on your arms, legs , and stomach. the back of the arm (triceps), the outside of your thigh, and on the stomach about 1" from your belly button.
There is a high, mid and low site for each spot you inject, use all the high site, then rotate to the mid site, then use the low site.
when done using all the sites start over, it should take about a month to use all of the sites once. your visiting nurse should explain it all, if not there should be instructions with your medicines. my wife uses betaseron and she's had good luck with it. And if you have MS, watch out for depression and find a support group in your area they do help a lot.
