manager! i worked for a place where if a customer turned in lost items to the waiter or hostess, depending on the person's personal morals and ethics and under the influence of a $5.15 an hour paycheck, the object had a 50/50 chance of going into the lucky waiter's pocket. Going straight to the manager will give you a better chance at making sure it goes home with it's original owner. I'm not saying all managers are trustworthy, either, but most are in charge for a reason.
But always, always, always return it! It's soo sad when people come in later crying and looking for their wallet/toy/purse/whatever and someone's stolen it and we have to tell them it's gone.

Take it back to the resturant. What if some little boy has lost their game system? I mean come on have a heart. The little boy gets home crying the parents go back to the resturant looking for it and they can't find it. And then temper temper untill the parents get a new one!

Return it to the restaurant and ask them to put it in the Lost & Found. The person who lost it may very well check the Lost & Found to see if it had been turned in.

There are two things that you can do. 1) Give it back to the resturant itself and have them take care of it. or 2) put an add in the newspaper saying "found game system" and have them describe it for you before they get it back.

Since you had enough in you to ask that question I think you know the correct answer, turn it in to the restaurant.

Give it to the restaurant manager. The person will re-trace their steps, which do not include meeting you but do include going to the restaurant.
