unless you know for sure otherwise, that picture could have been in color to start with and then just turned certain parts to b/w. You can add color to a b/w photo ~> here's an example of one a did a couple weeks ago (the 3rd is the original and the 4th is colored) http://photoenhance.photosite.com/enhancements/?page=2 just to give you an idea of how you can color an image you know was in b/w to begin with. If you don't have photoshop email me and I will give you information about a program you can download to do it as well as a few tips to get the results you want.

That is done using a computer program like Photo Shop where you add the color to the image.

if you have photoshop this is easy

first, desaturate the image as an adjustment on the layer (not on the whole image)

then use a layer mask to hide part of the desaturation layer.

if you dont have photoshop this is a more difficult question and i cant help you. I'll clarify more if you need help.

Simple way,you entered to Adobe Photoshop, from the toolbar you point "Image" then "MODE" then could see a word stated "Grayscale",so that point at "Grayscale" you would see Black and White Picture/Photo.
