Triforce: Thank you
cirque de lune: MS and even Chronic Faigue Syndrome (or even Insomnia) are not disabilities. It is an illness. I also have MS and CFA but do not consider myself disabled

I have a disability, deafness. I am a Christian. I became a Christian when I was 26 years old after a couple of years of searching for something more out of life. I accepted Jesus as my savior because I was at the end of my rope and it was the only thing left to do. Out of desperation, I guess you could say.
I lost my hearing when I was 28 years old. I wasn't very strong in my faith at the time, but I was growing. I think God used this hardship as a way to strengthen me in so many ways. I developed a new understand for people who are not perfect and most importantly, I learned that God will help me get through whatever comes my way. He will never leave me.

I have a mental disability, I have brain damage and suffer from Bi polar disease.
I Love Jesus and I tend to were my disability as a bit of a trophy. Not really but I am not afraid to talk about it.
I was called by God when I was an alter boy, I rejected His call then and for twelve years did my own thing.
When I was in the Navy I met a friend and He and I used to talk about everything. I asked him about his self confidence, and he reach over and picked up his Bible and I went through all the excuses but eventually went to church with him and thus began my spiritual walk 25 odd years ago.
whats your story?

What is your definition of a disability, exactly?
I know a woman who has MS, confined to a wheelchair and everything. She's a devout Christian.
I also know some perfectly healthy people who are atheist.
I have chronic insomnia. Should I be mad at God over that?

I have chronic migraines, and fibromyalgia.
I am a born again Christian.
I came to that relationship with Jesus after a long time of searching for the truth, when finally a Baptist preacher and his wife moved in next door to me and after a couple of years of SLOWLY getting to know them they shared their faith with me and I was confronted with conviction for the first time by God that what I was hearing was the TRUTH. I repented of my sins, asked Jesus to forgive me, and got gloriously saved!
EDIT:
God Bless you too, Munsta!

I was born a catholic, I am a Pentecostal christian. I was doing alot of soul searching and someone helped me to see that Catholicism isn't biblical teachings except communion.
Note: I am not banging on anyone's beliefs, you just asked how I came to be in my present faith.
