I am 82 pounds, 5"4, 14, and a girl, I want to weigh 72 pounds, how do I lose 10 pounds, in 25 days?

You're actually underweight for your height. Just eat plenty of fruits, veggies, and whole grains and lift weights and do plenty of cardio like running, swimming, etc..and you'll look and feel great. The numbers on the scale can be deceiving-muscle actually weighs more than fat, so if you gain a few pounds while you're working out and eating right, you've probably gotten stronger-and that is an asset that few people have and many people want.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

Well, I think you should take into account the fact that 82 lbs, even for such a young girl, is a really low weight, especially for your height. Now, I haven't actually seen you, or know what body type you have, but 10 lbs sounds like an awful lot for somebody of your height/weight to consider losing. Plus, you are only 14 years old. Your body is doing alot of developing and growing right now, and losing that much weight that quickly could be seriously bad for your health---permanently! Honestly, my best advice is to be active, eat healthy foods, get plenty of exercise, and stop worrying about your weight. Your body will automatically put itself at the healthiest weight if you follow a healthy lifestyle, whatever that weight might ultimately be. And then you can worry about more important things, like school and stuff.

Why in the world would you want to weigh so little? That's just not enough weight for a person your height, especially at age 14. You're already at a body mass index of 14.1, which is SUBSTANTIALLY under the criteria for being "underweight" (less than 18.5); if you drop to 72 pounds, you would be at an index of 12.4, and that's just plain dangerous. At your present weight, I'd be surprised if you even have menstrual periods; if you drop 10 pounds, I am fairly certain they will stop completely, and that's a danger sign for ANY adult female.

Please talk to your parents, a counselor, or another adult you trust, and get to a doctor before you do yourself SERIOUS harm.

DONT LOSE ANYMORE POUNDS.. Your beautiful!!- and if you are confident in your skin it will show through to others.-- My gooodness dear child, you are what I concider below normal weit .. I'm 5'2" and weigh 115, proud and happy. The normal weight for someone who is 5'4" is typically 120- 130. I would say put some muscle and fat on the body and hopefully become in terms with being beautiful is from the inside not your appearance. hope all is well

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh im 5"3 and 100 lb and feel like a pregnut pig my goal is 95 lb............you are silm, a good weight for you would be 85 lb and and you are 3 lb under you dont have to gain just dont loose. If you feel fat run and do push ups so you can gain muscel not loose. You dont want to stress your parents.


a normal weight for your height and age is 85 lb-115 for your age dont listen to some of the people , many dont know the differencce between child and adult scales.

for one thing, you are already at a very thin weight. you should not be looking to lose 10 pounds. this weight is hazardous to your health. your BMI is very much underweight, and i suggest you go to a doctor...

It is way to early to be putting on the skeleton costume for Halloween.

You are already underweight. You should be trying to gain weight. Now keep telling yourself, I am too skinny, I am too skinny.
