I'm Maid of Honor for my best friend and the wedding is this December 2007. I need to start planning and reading some books to give me great ideas! Any other girls out there who was/is the maid of honor (or a bridesmaid)? What are you doing right now, what books are you reading or have found to be FUN and helpful!!?? How about some cool websites you have found for bachelorette things?? Thanks girls =)

It all depends. Look at weddingchannel.com for ideas. Do google/yahoo searches on "bridal shower games and ideas." Frankly, gone are the days when the maid/marton of honor did everything. Solicit the help of the other bridesmaids, especially when it comes to the bridal shower. Hopefully the bride's family is involved too, especially the ladies and can help out. Don't fall into the trap - its expensive. Good luck.

Try looking on the website http://www.maidofhonor.org They have tons of ideas for the would be maid of honor, one that my big sister is using and has really liked it- it has everything!!

Make sure you give her a great batchlorette party and the rest will fall into place and dont worry about people getting offended about the 4 strippers U get they can just leave when they come LOL......
