AOL 9.0 downloaded something automatically to my System Tray a few weeks ago. I can't get rid of it - no exit and msconfig doesn't show it. I'm having problems now that I didn't have before the download with a message coming up to Install Connection files and Restart Computer every other time I try to load AOL. After I allow it to install, it loads and I have to Restart. BUT it keeps coming up.

Grrrrrr I HATE AOL but it's the only browser my wife will use
strange that It doesn't show up in msconfig try extending the "command" section to see if it may be hiding.

press "ctrl+Alt+delete" under processes is the only other way I know (short of uninstalling AOL) but you'll have to do this every time you log on

AOL Blows free or not
