He also says to judge with righteous judgment, not by appearance, for in the way we judge, we ourselves will be judged. We would condemn ourselves. The standard of measure we use will be used for us. We are to look at and judge ourselves and help others who are stumbling from known sin. We are to let love be the motivation, not hatred or vengeance. It is this that motivates Christians to warn and advise those who are sinning. If someone sins against you, you forgive them, but you also tell them what they have done. If they love and care about you, then they would try not to do that again. It is not a judgment. It is just expressing and agreeing with the God's law. Only God can truly judge the heart and intent of a person. That is why we are to refrain from taking God's place.

Judge least be judged. In gods eye all sins are equal. All are sinners and fall short of the glory of God.

Mat 6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;

Joh 7:24 Do not judge according to sight, but judge righteous judgment.

Joh 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Joh 12:47 And if any one hears My Words and does not believe,
I do not judge him, for I do not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

Mat 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you,

Joh 13:34 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another.
Joh 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

Jesus said "don't judge others" -- but He did not mean this as an excuse to defend, or engage in, sinful behavior.

Unfortunately, that's how many people -- including those who defend the gay lifestyle -- read it.

They're not really interested in preventing us from judging others, for our own good. They're interested in trying to squelch legitimate criticism of destructive and highly immoral behavior.

When someone says "homosexuality is wrong," they are not judging anybody. They're talking about the act, not the person engaging in the act.

Jesus said nothing directly about homosexuality -- because the Scriptures, which He said nothing to contradict, already had homosexuality covered.

There was no need for Him to state the obvious. After all, few if any people back then would have even thought about committing homosexual acts.

Jesus didn't say anything about peeing on people's kitchen floors, either. Does that mean it's OK to do it?

A few things the bible does say:

Discernment vs. judgement and condemnation

This is what the bible says about judgement of others:

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned…

This is what it says about DISCERNMENT:

1 Thessalonians 5:21 PROVE all things; hold to the things found to be good.

Philippians 1:9-10(NIV) And this is my prayer: that your LOVE may abound more and more in KNOWLEDGE and depth of insight that you may be able to DISCERN what is BEST and may be PURE and blameless until the day of Christ.”

1Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in FEAR:

Yes, you have the right Bible. You are correct in that Jesus never directly spoke of homosexuality in our canonical Bible, and you are correct in that Jesus spoke of prefacing our tendency to judge others by reminding us that the same attitude of condemnation would thus be used on us. So I suppose the real question would be, who has really embraced the teachings of Jesus and been empowered by His Spirit to overcome our human tendencies?

He doesnt seem to have talked much at all actually. If you read it like this is God on the planet earth, you would think he would have a little more to say, in my opinion.
It is reported that he spoke more of not judging and said nothing on homosexuals
FYI
MK 14:51 A young man, wearing nothing but a linen garment, was following Jesus. When they seized him, 52 he fled naked, leaving his garment behind.

Maybe Jesus was depicted as actually having no problem with Ho

People take the not judging thing out of context. What is meant is that as Christians we are supposed to spread the gospel. It is not up to us weather a person or a group of people deserve to hear the gospel or not. If I withhold the gospel from some one deeming them unfit to receive it then I am very very wrong. If I say, "He's gay so he doesn't deserve a chance to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior so I'm not going to tell him about Jesus....he doesn't deserve to go to heaven. That is what is meant by not judging. I am to give the gospel to the world without judging weather some one deserves to get saved or not. My job is to give the gospel out to a lost and dieing world. My job is not to judge weather a person deserves to hear the gospel or not. We can judge a sin without judging the sinner. I can say, "homosexuality is a sin" as a general statement. If you feel convicted by that statement then perhaps you need to get with God and figure out why you feel convicted when I say that.

Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.

Also, Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are three persons in one. The New Testament tells us to follow the commandments of the Old Testament. Jesus didn't need to list them individually since we have the Old Testament to reffer to. Some say that we don't have to follow the rules in the OT but if that were true then why do we even have the OT?

Oh so very definitely about not judging others .... I don't believe the word "homosexuality" ever left his lips.

Regardless of whether something is right or wrong ... *anything* ... it is not our place to judge. I believe Christ also said, "He who is without sin, cast the first stone."

Is there anyone alive who can cast a stone? I think not.

He wanted all people to love God and each other... not judging others because we are all sinners. Their is nothing in the new testament that says anything about homosexuality being the worst sin ever! to God, every sin is horrible!
