I'm 22 years old, and I'm a virgin. In high school, a lot of guys came onto me then left after finding this out. Then they dated girls that treated them bad and cheated on them. When I went to college, I hoped the guys would be a little more mature and sensitive, but it was just the opposite. A confession told in confidence to one guy led to me being harassed by many male freshmen that wanted to "pop my cherry." It's not a mental hang-up with me. I just think it's right to wait until marriage. Are there any nice guys out there that are willing to wait?

DEFINITELY!!!!!!!!!! obviously the guys that your were interested in were horny a*ses leave them be and find the right guy, not going out with a girl cause she`s a virgin is just stupid, being a virgin is a honorable thing in today`s society with girl`s getting pregnant at sixteen...don`t let anyone change your mind about being a virgin, stay a virgin and tell all the guys you date that your proud of it that way you`ll tell the scum from the good ones!!!!!!!!

My friend is 21 and she's also a virgin. She seems to have the same problem as you, that's the reason why she has never had a boyfriend. The truth, you shouldn't feel bad at all, there are more girls out there who wish they were still virgins; I'm in that situation right now. You need to value your virginity, and you will be glad you did, because guys will obviously appreciate it even more when ever you find the one that really wants something serious with you. If some guys get scared off by that, then let them go, that's because they are just looking for an "easy" girl, and that's definetly not worth it.

I understand what you're going through, I am 20 years old and a virgin in college. Most of the guys I know are all about "popping the cherry" for this reason often I do not tell people where I stand on premarital sex. But the majority of guys that I am friends with are cool with it because it means that I have high morals and they respect that. They also said that girls who wait have more self-respect and have higher values that they look for in a quality wife. So it's all about the type of guys you date and are friends with that determines their state of mind about your waiting to have sex.

I'm proud of you for holding out till marriage. That's the way God intended it. You have made you own observations and found out that most guys dont want anything to do with you if they cant have sex, so they turn to those who will. If a guy isnt willing to honor your wishes to save yourself for your husband, then look somewhere else. It may seem like they are not out there, but they are. However, you probably wont find many of them in the bars and nightclubs, if you know what I mean. You show that you respect yourself by sticking to your convictions, wouldnt you want a guy that respects his self as well. Its old fashion thinking, but sometimes the old fashion thinking is the right thinking. I believe that if most girls were perfectly honest, they would say that they wished that they would have saved themselves for their husband too. Too often, girls dont have the confidence in themselves to keep a man with gifts and talents and thier personallity, so they think they have to have sex in order to keep him. Dont fall into that trap. hope this helps. :)

Unfortunately a lot of guys view virgins as girls who are too [whatever] to 'put out.' The right man will wait, understanding that a woman who doesn't sleep with just any guy has enough self-respect to insist on a real relationship.

Hi dear, I'm 26 years old and I'm a virgin. There are plenty of guys who are also virgins and would like to marry a virgin too, particularly Christians. The majority of young people in the church that I meet with are virgins before marriage.

it is something that you can share only once with for the first time make it someone that you have some genuine feelings for other wise later you ll have wished you'd waited, who cares what guys think there just keepong score and thats ot that right kind of guy,you have have been labled unobtainable or hard to catch but the harder they try maybe youll find the one that you wish to experiance with the first time.

I don't mind waiting. I hate to say but I had my fill so I am not as poonani hungry as I used to be.

I dated a virgin in college for a whole year before she came to the other side (pun intended). I waited for her. Surely I can wait for my future wife.

There's nothing wrong with it. It will save you on a lot of arguments in the future concerning ex-boyfriends.

When you find the guy that truly loves you, he'll love the fact that you're a virgin.
