Why stop there, why not ask other questions about age and money, like: Why do pensioners not need to pay their way (free bus fares, heating allowance etc) when the reality is that statistics show that far from all being frail, penniless old people, huddled in front of the one-bar electric fire drinking a cup-a-soup like Sky News would like us to think, a high proportion of that age group actually have significant wealth? The fact is that employers like to pay different workers different rates of pay because it is a reflection of experience. Your bills are not your employers' concern. It should not matter to them which staff have mortgages, which ones have children (a young person is far more likely to have a young family). In all likelihood a job paying minimum wage is either an unskilled job anyone could do, or it is training to qualify in a skilled job from scratch. The wage reflects skill and experience. Someone with valuable skills and experience would merit more. But just think back to what life was like before Labour's win in 1997, when there was no minimum wage. It was common to see jobs advertised in Job Centres paying £1.50 per hour, which was despicably low even then.

yes it is too much, not to mention that it's illegal. it's normal to have a crush on an older man, but it will usually pass with time. he may just like her as a student, as a 12 year old and 30 year old don't have a lot in common yet, other than the guitar. the age gap would be better if they were older, especially the girl.

What would a 30yoa man have in common with a 12yoa female?? Have the 12yoa female ask her parents if it is too much of an age difference. Alot of students develop crushes on their teachers and soon get over it. Tell your friend to 'get real' and look at boys her age to fall in love with.

A 30 year old cannot love a 12 year old romantically unless he's mentally slow. A 12 year old is a child. A sane adult would have nothing in common with a person who is still so young. Besides that, it's illegal.

Unless he's a child molester, there is no way that they will develop a relationship. He.will.go.to.jail.
If your friend's (or your!!) teacher has feelings for a 12 year old child, TELL YOUR PARENTS.
