do you see a doctor? A psychiatrist? Do you take medications? You should concentrate on psychatric treatment and counseling to work through your relationship problems, then have a relationship. You will have so much more to offer by then, and less confusion for yourself and the other person if you build yourself up first.

My daughter, also 20, is bipolar. And yes, she does have trouble in relationships, with everyone, but especially her love interests. She is the opposite of you however, she obsesses over her boyfriend and cannot function without him, no matter how badly he treats her. I wish there was a magic pill that would make you, her and others like you better able to cope. All I can suggest is that if you are not in counseling, get some. She will not go through it. I hope you will. Only when you are happy with yourself will you ever be happy with anyone else. Good luck and God Bless.

I have been diagnosed with bi polar. I have been married for two years, and I have been struggling with this and my relationship. It is hard and no one ever really understands. I can be perfectly fine and then become extremely hysterical. Medication does not work all that well. I wish I had more to tell you but at the least you can know you are so not alone. Maybe you can seek counseling for yourself, it is an option.

Now i am back on my meds , but she's too scared to be around me ......... Stay on your meds everything should be ok ..

everyone is different.if you have love. real love then your lover will know it. and if this person loves you then they will understand you.if they dont. then they dont. dont blame yourself.be yourself. but catch your thoughts when they get out of hand.when your mind goes to far. know it. except your the way you are.but keep up with yourself. dont let your mind to to far out.there.love yourself. The Spirit of God helps me quite a bit.have faith.keep the faith. dont stop having faith. never give up.life can be good.have a good attitude.I wish you the best.its hard sometimes I know your fine. your ok. dont put yourself down..I take my medicine .
