That means that 90% of people who call themselves "Christians" are not real Christians. So, look for the other 10% before criticizing Christianity, because you are blaming Christ because of people who are not Christians, just saying they are (in most of the cases; there may be a few real Christians who fall into that sin, but that would be the exception not the rule, and they would be really sorry about that).

no it does not mean we are "doomed" in the religious sense.
it just shows that it is silly to expect someone, in this modern era of reason, to think that god really cares a great deal about responsible, loving adults having sex.
The sad thing is that in the bible, homosexuality is no different than premarital sex. how can we all be having sex before marraige and say, "we need to tell homosexuals that they are living is sin and we should suggest they go through "de-gayifcation" treatment."

No it doesn't. If your data are correct, that means that 90% of people are not virgins before they get married. If you are looking for bad news, it might mean that 90% of Americans have an increased risk of giving their spouse venereal disease as a wedding present.

God forgives everyone for their sins If you Just ask Him. and you really mean it. God also knows sometimes people make MISTAKES. He will Judge us.

The Children can't help what their Parents do. God Loves them. they are not doomed. when they get older they can ask forgiveness also and be given a new life.

So the answer to your question is NO we are NOT doomed as long as we ask God to forgive us. He will.

85% are Christian. 90% of those 85%, by your logic, are doomed. Wait... does that make sense, my math?

Do you remember the story of Sodom amd Gomorrah.

Gen 19:5 And they called to Lot, and said to him, Where are the men which came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may know (have sex with) them.

Sexual expression is not what determines our salvation. Jesus is. Our sexual activity is one indicator of whether we put our pleasure / self ahead of God or not. It also desensitizes to the kind of depth relationship God intends in marriage. Finally, if it is in a live-in situation, it cuts the chances of our marriage working by about 40% or more.
