Bought them at HEB, i guess 5 months ago... its says, sell before oct 12, 2006 ... they been frozen,... so, i wonder, are they still good?

Generally meat can be frozen for 6 months so I say yes.

The only way you will know is to defrost them, watch for 'freezer burn'. If they are okay, eat them as soon as possible after defrosting. They tend to go off quite quick once defrosted.

Nothing like curried prawns and rice for dinner, or add them to a commercially made Laksa for a quick and easy dinner.

yes,if they are very deep frosen, (continious)its absolutely no problem,they
are sometimes that amount of time in freeser storage anyway
the best way to check,is after defrosting them,they should smell
good,if they are off,you can smell it strait away if they are rotten.
as a ex seaman we used to have all kinds of meat/fish ect in
store for 6 months or more, without problems, bon a petit

They should be gust as long it's not freezer burn.
