YES! Ceramics are much better than the regular flat irons. It helps protect your hair, instead of burning it.

I would say it depends on your hair. Because I use to use a regular iron which worked fine with my hair, it straightened my hair just fine but my roots weren't as straight as I wanted them to be. Then I got a ceramic flat iron for Christmas and it works very well on my roots but then it kind of leaves my hair frizzy, but it works okay for my hair. I personally like the regular flat iron better with my hair. My sister has a different quality of hair than I do and the ceramic flat iron works way better with her hair than it does with mine.

Yes, ceramic is good I got a Conair 100% solid ceramic flat iron. solid ceramic is all I use.

Yes. Hair gunk doesn't stick to ceramic irons like it does metal ones. You can use your spray before ironing! Better hold...

Yes because they keep the natural oils of your hair. If you would like to make sure it is really ceramic, take a key and scrape the side. If anything comes off, it isn't real and return it, because it will damage your hair. Ceramic ones work best because they damage your hair the least and hold the oils in, while providing safe heat.

Yes, ceramic has a better heat transfer, which allows you to style without burning your hair, and they are not as expensive as they use to be. My suggestion switch to ceramic for all heat styling tools.

Yes. Ceramic irons heat faster and longer, which is what us black women definitely need. If you have a dull color, it should add a slight shine to your hair. I have one and love it!
