A pâté (also spelled paté) is a spreadable paste, usually made from meat (although vegetarian variants exist), and often served with toast as a starter. It is a French word which designates a mixture of minced meat (often from the less desirable parts) and fat.

It is generally made from a finely ground or chunky mixture of meats such as liver, and often additional fat, vegetables, herbs, spices, wine and other ingredients. Pate can be purchased at any local grocery store.

And below is a link to a great recipe site for a great olive spread recipe

Hi Stephanie...you mean pate (pronounced pa-tay), I'd suggest rather than try to make it that you go to the grocery store and buy some...I don't know how you are with trying new things, but pate is usually some sort of finely ground cooked meat blended with spices and then spread on crackers or breads,,,A standard one is fois gras which is made from goose liver ....sounds gross I know but quite tasty, the olive spread you're looking for is called olive tapinade. Since you have access to a computer you could do a Google recipe search, where you'll find several to choose from...Good luck and bon appetite!

I think this would turn out to be a wonderful story, I really do. I'm not gay, nor bisexual but I really enjoyed the read. Though the spelling isn't very well (as you mentioned) once the story is completed I think it will be enjoyable!

Sure, sounds familiar though. Go get the details all in there and get it to a publisher.
