You do not have to pay money to locate money for graduate school. There are free sources a person can locate on the internet, and some are pretty easy to locate.

First, fill out the FAFSA form because it will tap into need based financial aid at the federal government and at the college level. At the graduate school level, financial aid will be based on your income and financial resources. Can still qualify for the work study program at the graduate scool level.

Second, apply for a teaching assistant or research assistant at the college you will be attending. This will help out the costs and provide some income.

Third, search Google.com and Yahoo.com for scholarships based on your college major, ethnicity, religion, and race.

Fourth, the college financial aid office and website list private scholarships from outside organizations and companies. Sometimes a college major's website will list scholarships, too.

Finally, join several free membership scholarship search websites. Some do extend into graduate school on its scholarship search listing results. They also offer a customized search based on the information you enter into the form.

Good luck!
