I need anyone's help. This is my dream but sometime's I feel as if it is unobtainable due to my less than great GPA . Any advice? I'm in a bunch of hard classes this semester and I can't get the motivation to study. I mean - I will. I know I will be in the library tomorrow studying. But basically, I am not efficient when I study. I try but I can't concentrate HARD. OR i am efficient but then take a 5 hr long break.

I just need advice on getting in. please. any kind of help in studying/motivation/anything. Please

When I said "I need help in getting in," I was referring to medical school

your GPA isn't that concerning. many people have gotten into medical school with even lower GPAs than that. but what is concerning is your admission that that you aren't motivated. do you think it's going to be any easier finding the motivation to study once (if?) you get into medical school

we all have dreams, but we also need to be realistic sometimes. i think you need to re-examine your dreams.

You know, you don't have to pay attention to the naysayers here. Your gpa is plenty good enough. I'm in med school, graduating this year and when I was at your stage, I had PLENTY of times when I felt EXACTLY the same and would have the same problems because I was burned out. Basically, I studied as if my life depended on it (and those of my kids, as a single mom) and didn't take enough proper breaks. Still when the chips were down and I thought I was toast, when push came to shove, somehow I managed to get the job done, JUST LIKE YOU WILL TOO. You might want to try this: give the devil his due, or waste a certain amount of time and then get to it. It's not a healthy way to live, that's for sure, but then, some losers who will question your dream of becoming a pediatrician probably don't have the chutzpah to work as hard as you do (because yes, you do work hard-your gpa shows it.) And when it's time to take the MCAT, I'd advise scraping up the cash to take a review course like the Princeton Review. Best money I ever invested if only because it forced me to review the material in a structured way. Good luck kicking a$$ in your classes!

You sound as if you haven't learned self-discipline. Take a look at yourself and see if, at the moment, you would just rather do something else than study.

If you can't motivate yourself to study, have a chat with your favorite teacher (or your least unfavorite one).

Sooner or later, if you want to be good at something, you are going to have to work at it.

I really hope this helps you.

First, learn how to spell what you want to be correctly.
