to exclude other religions in our questions? The Bible says "love thy neighbor as thyself." But what if my neighbor is a Jew, a Muslim, a liar, a fornicator, or even an atheist? Should I listen to God, and, even though all these people are going straight to hell, include them in my questions?

But...but I thought the Bible said that those who don't believe in the Almighty God were going to hell? I wasn't asking to be mean. I was asking from the bottom of my faith. And if I'm judgemental then why do others tell me homosexuals are going to hell? Isn't it because God doesn't like them?
And no, I have never committed a sin in any moment of my existence. Ever. None.

You definately should listen to the Bible. Just because they are of another religion or a fornicator doesn't mean God doesn't love them. Actually, the Bible teachs that all sin is equal. That means that the things you do wrong (like maybe a little while lie to your boss or parents) is just as bad as fornication. Remember, we have to compare ourselves to God, not each other.
You know what God came to the earth? To save others. That includes Muslims, Jews, fornicators, athiests, Catholics, Christians... EVERYONE. We should not "choose" who we think God would love. The only difference between Christians and non-Christians is God has forgiven us. God wants to forgive everyone, but some just choose to accept the free gift of salvation.
I am reading a book right now called "Becoming a Contagous Christian" and it actually deal with this very subject. You should definately read it. It's informative without being overly theological and complicated.
God loves everyone, don't forget that!

Well, I'm not saying that it is completely wrong to not include people who don't share your believes. Sometimes you may have to do that, but this is not the place for it. You have an open forum here that includes many believes and walks of life. It would be like having a secret meeting in the middle of crowded room. It will make people feel uncomfortable. If you want to do what you are talking about you should start a site for that. You should love everyone. God bless

I am a Christian and I think it's very judgmental of you to assume you know who is going to Hell and who isn't. I believe wants us to love everyone just like He does. What He doesn't want us to do is include yourself where temptations might be. Say I have a atheist college. I can still be friends with him and even hang out with him as much as I want to, and I think God would encourage that. He would just want you to continue talking to Him and asking Him to give you strength to stay strong in your faith in God and not letting the college steering you away from God. (not that all atheists try to steer people away from God) Anyway, don't exclude, embrace other people and teach them the love that Christ wants to you to teach them. Help show the world that Christians are loving, and just want to show people that God is love. Good luck. God bless.

Yes you are to love thy neighbor no matter what sin they have committed. Not always an easy thing to do, but you may be the only likeness of Jesus that person may ever come in contact with. You may ultimately be the reason that person becomes a Christian.

Yes, we're all called to obey God and listening to Him is part of obedience. And I don't know if I believe you, that you never sinned. We're ALL sinners. Only the prideful will say they have never, ever sinned. We all sin but one thing that keeps us close to our Lord is that we recognize our sins, are able to repent and ask God for forgiveness. That's almost like saying one is married and has never, ever had a fight or an argument. Even the happiest married couples fight! Even the strongest, happiest Christians sin! It's our weakness that draws us closer to the Lord when we seek His strength.

For God so love the world that means everybody. God doesn't exclude anybody from His love. He doesn't play the tag game or brand name game. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God...meaning you and I. Brethren love one another, for love is of God and everyone that is born of God, He that loveth not, knoweth not God for God is love. The whole Christian foundation is base on love. Your neighbour is a person....and shouldn't be branded or tagged by a cloak of religion. See your neighbour as who Jesus said "Love the Lord with all your heart and mind and love your neighbour as yourself. This is the first and second commandment. We cannot judge anyone's soul and say that this one or that one will be going to hell. Love, be bless.

Remember this
All fall short of the glory of God.
All of us are humans, and without Jesus, none of us would be saved.
Do NOT pass judgment on your neighbor. And remember what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 4 verse 46. "If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
God shows his love to people without distinction. He did this by sending his own son to die on the cross for our sins. Not just those who attempt to be righteous, but the sins of ALL who might believe.

While Christianity is a religion of toleration, and we are commanded by Christ to love people - that is not the same thing as saying all religions are equally valid. . . because they are not.
For example - Christianity believes that Jesus is God, Muslims believe that Jesus was a good guy, a man of principle, and all that - but they don't believe that He is God.
Whether you believe that Jesus is God incarnate or you don't, surely you recognize that somebody's wrong about Jesus. If Jesus is not God, then Christianity is wrong, but if Jesus is God, then Mohammed is wrong.
All religions are not equally valid.

A greater love is when it involve sacrifice and it is a decision of the practical will. Our neighbour is every human soul. You can only accomplish this by first loving God with your whole heart, mind, and strength and being in a state of grace. If you are enslaved to sin you will not be able to accomplish this love of neighbour.

Asking a question and wanting a particular type of person's point of view is not a problem. I love everyone, but sometimes I want the opinion of just one group of people. No problem.
