Make sure you get a lot of tattoos. This way you will never get a good job. Seriously... the idea is cool but in a reality it is not. Tattoos looks like crap unless you are a pirate. Not trying to be mean. I played in a huge heavy metal band and I thank myself for not going down that path in getting a tattoo. Don't let some ****** judge you by you having a tattoo and not giving you that raise or job or whatever.
Hope this helps

In Washington you can't get a tattoo unless you are 18, bottom line. As far as I know according to my piercer a lot of states are converting to that law. And I wouldn't suggest doing the home tattoo simply because you can get some deadly diseases, the tattoo artists are trained for a reason. Please wait and get a Henna for the time being. The tattoo guns are special guns that they order or make, I don't think you can just buy one, not a good one anyway. Look into your state laws to find out for sure.

I don't recommend giving yourself a tattoo. One of my friends tried this and got extremely sick from the ink he used. I don't think that you should get it on a place that is almost always exposed to the world. For example, if you went for a job interview and your interviewer noticed the tattoo, they might think that it's unprofessional and that it gives the company a bad image if you will be working with people. I say that you draw what you want, in Sharpie, on your wrist and if, after six months or so, you get sick of the design, then you know that it was a good thing that you didn't get it permanently.

I know what its like to want a tattoo, I started wanting one when I was very young. The best thing I did was wait until I was well over 18 to get my first one.
If you can find a professional that will tattoo a minor with parental consent then go for it. But my advice is to wait.

It depends on the state and county you live in. However it is a better idea to wait until you are 18 and have some life experiences because we change so much as we grow from young teen to adults. What cool now may seem really lame later and cover ups suck, have to be larger and darker than existing tattoo.

I got my first tattoo when I was 15 with my mom's permission.. I have heard of a few places who don't care but I don't think their work is as good as the more reputable places.. call around and ask how old you have to be to get a tattoo with and without parents permission without permission I'm sure 15 is too young but I'm not positive.. call around that is what I did

In most states, all it takes is parental consent. Some states will not allow it with even parental consent until the age of 16. Look up your states laws and seriously think i through. You have your whole life to get a tattoo. Make sure it is meaningful and something you will not most likely regret.

Only with your parents standing there . I f a tattooist sees you walk in , and he is a reputable tattooist , he will inform you of that .anyone not 18 years or older cannot get a tattoo with parents permission . Tattooing is NOT dangerous or dirty unless you go to someone with out morals or scruples . Go to one with a clean interior , and if they don't have needles opened in front of you from a new bag .Run don't walk and NEVER look back . Also look in the phone book , if they advertise , they are 99% legit !

With a parent's consent, you can. But please give this some more thought. You may run into a situation later on down the road where you have to have that tattoo covered, and the wrist is a diffficult place to do that. Tattoos are also painful and expensive to have removed.

I don't believe that you can get a tattoo at 15 unless you go to some dirty tattoo parlor and I would NOT reccomend that. I am 16 and I just got my first tattoo, but even at my age I needed to have my mother there to sign for me. I love my tattoo and I do not and will not regret it one bit. My best reccomendation would be to wait until you are 16, find a good tattoo parlor, and get your parent to sign for you because then you will not live to regret your tattoo.
