I'm a very shy girl and I normally don't make out with random people. I met this guy on a Euro trip in a train and he gave me his number but I never called him back.

We bumped into each other at this pub crawl few days later and I had a lot of guys running after me but I only waned to spend my time with this guy. He was also surrounded by a lot of girls and couple times we got close to making out but it just didn't happen.

It's been 7 months now since the trip and we email each other every once in a while. I finally got the guts to ask him why didn't he took the chance of making out with me when he had it and he said I was too slow in doing and not to worry about things. It may just happen if we bumped into each other again....And that was it !!

Is it okay being slow in doing things? Does innocent girls bother guys? Is it possible that nothing might happen with me and this guy cuz I'm too shy? I like him a lot and will be in his homeland for a year due to work. Wat shud i do?

Take your time . Are you in a rush to make a mistake. Let your heart tell you when things are right.

I think that being shy can cause guys to overlook you. Guys who are used to moving fast will think you're not interested, and guys who are shy themselves won't even have the balls to chat you up.

That said, I think that you should take your time and go at your own pace. If I were you, I wouldn't really pursue this guy, because of the fact that he's had lots of other girls chasing him. Maybe I'm just an optimist, but I think that sooner or later, someone will realize that you're a sweet girl, and just a bit shy. I think that it's a good thing that you don't make out with guys in bars. Don't change yourself without a good reason.

Sounds like he respected you to much to do anything. That's a good thing. If it were me, any one who'd make out in a bar isn't the kind of girl I'd want to be with. There's nothing wrong with being shy or slow as you chose to put it. It just shows that you have more class than most bar girls and that makes you stand out.
