This is my favorite brownie recipe, and you seem to have all of the ingredients, but I don't know if you have the proper amounts. you can cut the recipe in half if you need to.

Hershey's Best Brownies
Ingredients:

* 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
* 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9-inch square baking pan.

2. Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in nuts, if desired. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.

3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Prepare CREAMY BROWNIE FROSTING; spread over brownies. Cut into squares. About 16 brownies.

The site has the recipe for the frosting, but they really do not need frosting. Have fun!

If you have corn syrup try Divinity, here is the recipe:
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
3/4cup water
Heat to 260 degrees F
While it's heating separate 2 egg whites, and beat them to hold a peak. dispose of the egg yokes.
Set out some wax paper or plastic wrap on the cupboard.
set out the vanilla near the mixer.
When 260 degrees it reached, slowly pour the hot mixture into the egg whites while beating them in the electric mixer, then add about 1 tsp of vanilla.
Continue beating mixture until the light reflecting off the mixture turns dull, not shinny any more. Then quickly remove the mixer and spoon onto the wax paper or plastic wrap. When it's cooled, about 15 minutes enjoy.

Just omit the drizzle, it doesn't really add anything to the final taste, just a slight bit of presentation.
