You should examine and make sure you are born again and truly a part of God's family.
Satan hates God's people and will do anything to make them miserable and keep them from doing what God wants them to do. Satan works in the minds of all people including Christians to confuse them and hurt them. Satan can and will influence your mind. He will put thoughts into you mind and tell you they are your own thoughts, and he will struggle to control your mind. Trust in Christ; he has already won the victory for us. Lean on God and ask him to fill you with the Holy Spirit who will help you to live a life for the glory of God. Jesus is our Good Shepherd and is worthy of our lives lived for him. Having thoughts that are wrong is not going to send you to hell. Trust in Christ for your salvation.
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
Christians all struggle with thoughts that are wrong. That is temptation. You must reject these things and stand on the word of God which is immovable and unshakeable and unchangeable.
God bless you so much. Don't give up. Trust in Christ. He can subdue thoughts that are not true. Read his word and treasure it. Depend on the Holy Spirit to guide you. God will surely give you victory.

It's perfectly OK to not believe. Once you don't believe in god you realize that humanity is the most important thing! There is no such thing as hell. Hell is what keeps a lot of people believing and clouds their minds from wanting to search for the real truths.
You shouldn't want to stop having thoughts that god doesn't exist. Follow the path to truth wherever it leads. Be intellectually honest and don't believe something just because it makes you feel good or you fear punishment. Believe things because they are true.
"Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear." [Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, Aug. 10, 1787]
After I left Christianity I have never felt better. You will look back one day and wonder how it was that you ever believed some of the most ridiculous things anyone has ever believed.
Like someone said, read your Bible. Read it like you would any other book. If you see something you disagree with, or you don't believe then say so. Don't let the fear of hell cloud your mind. You are in just as much danger of going to hell as you are of being impaled on a unicorns horn. There are many religions that say you are going to hell for not believing a certain thing. Being a Christian doesn't get you off the hook from going to those hells.

There seems to be two ways of thinking about this.
1) "Satan" is confusing you to believe there is no God, thus making you want to sin since there are no real repructions, like hell for eternity, so, you know, it's okay to download that internet porn.
2) Maybe God and Jesus, and the bible and all that have just seemed like the obvious answer for so long that nothing else could possibly be the truth. Or maybe there was a time in your life where you asked God to help, and started thinking positvely because you so sure this God and/or Jesus would be there to help you like so many before seemed to be helped. And then you're so sure Jesus/God's going to help you get better that you start feeling so positive that YOU actually turn your life around, but give all the credit to Jesus/God. But as you read some of the Q&A of sinical b**tards like myself you start to maybe think that the bible isn't the word of God and there might be other answers outthere.
Hope you don't end up in hell.

It sounds to me like you do not yet have a personal relationship with God. If you have not gone through a time when your behavior and thoughts changed then very you do not have the comforter in you yet. Could be people who were in this same position told you you were saved but this does not mean it is true. Once you have the comforter you do not hqave these thoughts. I suggest you go to a church where the Spirit is strong and learn what you need to do to accept the Holy Spirit. Once you have done that then these thoughts will no longer happen, it is the differance between a believer and a Knower. There is very likely an area in your psyche which is still in a pridfull relationship in your life which is very easy to have living in a culture which promotes pride and greed. God wants all of you.

i grew up the same way you did. All of my family and friends were Christians and i was one also. It wasn't til i was about 18 that i started asking questions about my faith and Christianity. It started with simple questions like - is the earth only 6000 years old- if so what the hell are dinosaurs. After i realized that the bible was mostly false, i wondered how could anyone be a christian? The answer is faith. It is the only thing Christians can rely on cause the rest of their religion is false or has no evidence. I recommend reading up on Richard Dawkins, he gave me the answers i needed. I'm not trying to kill your faith or turn you atheist- I'm just trying to give you all the facts.

It is good to question things. You are doing the right thing by following Jesus, but you must do so with knowledge behind you. Totally blind faith is a scary, dangerous thing. I suggest you read the Bible, pray, and talk to a Christian counselor or a pastor. Think about what specific questions and difficulties you have and study up on them.
The Quest Study Bible is a very good Bible for answering questions. It's got an awesome question/answer format in the margins plus articles that deal with major issues.
Don't worry, everyone has doubts sometimes and it's good to ask questions. Jesus loves you and wants you to be informed!

Going to Church is great but you can not just go to church you have to also read the word. Grab your book it will help you and revitalize your spirit and strengthen it and throw doubts out the window. Once the devil gives you doubt you push it away with quick reflexes by calling and praising the name of God our Father and Jesus the son. Don't let it sit there for a second, cause to give into doubt is to call our Father a liar and that sir is a lie. Love. Live. breath. God Bless. Love Amen.

You're not going to hell for doubting the existence of God. This is called examining your faith. It is both normal and healthy--don't repress it, but go ahead and take this time to see what you believe. Consider it a test of faith.

There is an age, especially teenage, where all sorts of doubts show up because you are not mature in the faith.
You wonder if what your parents and the church taught you is real.
Believe me, it is real. God does exist, Jesus is His Son.
As you mature in your faith, God will show you what He wants from you and how you can be of service to Him.
I wouldn't have stayed with it if I did not feel Him in my heart.

Those thoughts are called being human. You are a fallible chunk of meat and a born hypocritical skeptic, it's in all of us.
You're not going to go to hell for occasionally doubting your deity and you don't need 'help'. Worst comes to worst you'll have to climb a figurative mountain to cleanse yourself of sin, or so says Dante.
What you need to do is search yourself and decide what you really believe and just go with your gut from there, as these things lend themselves to.
