% months ago, I would have answered this question France, because I love French language and culture. But now my opinion has changed thanks to three girls from the Czech Republic. This country is a bundle of historical beauty tied with a bow and wrapped in shiny paper. The countryside is just rolling hills, many of the people follow a traditional life, the cities are bustling with energy and activities for the young and old alike, the language is beautiful (and challenging I might add), Prague is amazing and so is everything else in the country, and after this year, I have three AMAZING reasons to go there...JG, IM, and TK. It may be small and rather unpopular (especially outside of Prague), but the world does not know what they are missing!

Bhutan. It has a restricted tourist industry - numbers strictly controlled to about 2000 per year. It is unspoiled by much modern development, it is in the Himalayas and I would love to go there.
Unspoiled forests, beautiful Shangri-La-like valleys, awe inspiring Buddhist temples crazily built on the most inaccessible cliffs and a very colourful, authentic, unspoilt culture and people.
its ex-king has declared that the most important thing for Bhutanese is not Gross National Product but the Gross National Happiness. Now that seems like a perfect idea to me.
Take me to Nirvana.

Maybe the Holy Land, or England. I've never been far from the US and it would be interesting to see someplace really, really old with lots of history.
